Price Per Minute vs. Price Per Page
Inquiries into our sales department are often about our per minute rate. Customers will call in claiming other virtual fax companies charge per page, “Isn’t that better?” Actually, when you do the math a per minute rate makes much more sense. On average, you can send/receive 2-3 pages per minute. Included each month are 100 minutes with the Fax800 system which is $9.95 a month. This means you can potentially send/receive 200-300 pages every month for just $9.95. Even if you go over those 100 minutes and go to our default pay as you go rate, at 6.9 cents per minute, its a bargain. Remember, you can send 2-3 pages in one minute. Plus, we bill in 6 second increments, which means, if a fax takes 30 seconds to send we are only charging for that 30 seconds. Some other virtual fax companies charge as high as 15 cents per page. So, remember, when you are doing research for an Internet fax system, make sure the cents make sense!
