Most agents are already using their call capture number on their sign riders to capture leads. But most are not also using it in a way that will not only capture leads, but encourage people to want to talk to them. It is great to be able to capture the caller’s information. It is even better if you can encourage that caller to connect to you directly, right there and then. Here is a way to get as many as 1/3 of the callers into your call capture system to press that key to be connected to you. By using technology and psychology you have already enticed the caller to dial into the toll free number. (For more on this see my article The Psychology Of Sign Riders.) Now in order to get them to want to talk to you, try this simple technique. Once they hear the short description of the property, let them know that due to changing market conditions the pricing information on this property would need to be updated nearly every day. Rather than re-record the messages daily, let them know that they can simply press “7″ and you would be happy to get pricing information for them. This is an easy and non-threatening way for the prospect to get the information they are looking for and for you to have the opportunity to turn that prospect into a client.
